Default SOAP based API interface Q for Aaron

Blueface offered some SOAP functionality a while ago where programmers can programatically interface with the Blueface service.

Is this service still available?

TIA

It was two years ago .

After the initial announcement about the prototype we didn't keep it going as there was no interest. This is the first query we've ever had about it .

All our provisioning systems operate by using web services and the tie in between things like the PBX GUI and our VoIP systems use them.

If anyone reading this is interested feel free to post what you'd like to be able to do with the web services and if there is enough interest we can look at exposing some again...

That's a pity, but i can understand what you mean!

I have a number of customers who has expressed an interest in sending text messages to field technicians re. jobs etc and need to do this using custom developed software.

I found a service provider who exposes an API that I can use, but I would have very happy to use Blueface as the service provider as I am extremely satisfied with the service etc.

This is prob a very specific function that I need, so i don't know if there would be many requests for this kind of functionality.

I am going to go with the other service provider for now, but the moment Blueface offers this kind of api functionality, I would certainly switch at the drop of a hat.
