Hi,
I'm using a Linksys RT31P2 and a Philip 1222 (two handsets). Problem: When the a call is not underway the message "-CALL-" flashes on the phone's screen for five or six seconds. This happens simultaneously on both phones. It also happens if I'm dialing or using the phone menus, in which case the flashing message interrupts what I'm doing and returns the phone to the 'idle' screen when it stops. I've had the same problem with a previous phone (a BT100 I think). The difference is that on the BT phone the message would only appear if I was in the middle of dialing or using the phone's menus. Note: The problem doesn't happen when the phone is disconnected, e.g. I can add numbers to the phonebook and do other things with the phone menu without problems.

Turned out to be a problem with the Voicemail Waiting Indicator settings on the router.
Thanx to the support guys for sorting it out. |
