To upgrade the Firmware on your Netgear:
(This doesn't apply to locked units) 1) Obtain the firmware (some available here) Unzip it and save it on your hard drive - note the location. 2) Login to the unit, as described here. 3) Select "Firmware Upgrade" from the menu on the left hand side. 4) Click "Browse" and navigate to the location where you saved the unzipped file (from step 1) 5) Click "Upload" 6) Do not interrupt the unit while it is upgrading.
