Want to dial in using PSTN but dial out via VOIP w/option of also dial out on PSTN
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello I have the following scenario: Office with 4-5 users using seperate PSTN lines with no PBX in place yet. They also use USB Voip phones connected to PC's, this was fine until now but using PSTN phones more as "its handier".Also not practical all the time as pc's are not always on. I want to cut these lines down to 2 PSTN lines for incoming calls USING our main advertised companyy number for incoming calls only but almost all out going calls to go out via VOIP (Blueface). I say nearly all as i want the users to be able to use the PSTN backup in case of broadband outage or to ring 1800 numbers etc. Also the option of automated routing from main number to extensions and call transfer and hunting lines etc are a nice extra. I have seen these two devices from linksys that seem to needed to be combined to get these benefits http://snipurl.com/33xof I will of course be getting IP phones like http://snipurl.com/33xpz Will these do what i want? The main thing is to dial in on our PSTN number say 01 671XXXX and get the automated extension option AND for most calls to go out via VOIP with the option of say hitting a Hash key to get a analouge PSTN line in case of faults etc. Is there any other options i should be looking at? Thanks for reading all this and all responses appreciated D |
