Hi,

I'm sure this has been a problem for numerous folk and I have read the forum and other sites to try and get my setup to work. I have the Netgear TA612v ATA and Netgear WNR2000 router.

I was originally connecting my ATA between modem and router, but after a house extension I now would like the ATA behind the router.

The steps I have taken to get this to work are (following the sticky in this forum topic):
1. created a static route for the ATA (192.168.1.10) on the router
2. logged into the ATA and changed LAN IP setup by unticking DHCP server and inserting an IP address of 192.168.1.10 and subnet 25.255.255.0
3. On the router I have UDP port forwarding for 5060-5061, 5004 and 10000-20000 all against 192.168.1.10

I can log onto the ATA control panel when I have the patch cable plugged into the Ethernet port - but not when it's plugged into the Internet port. Apparently it's meant to be this way - but when plugged into either port I canot get the orange flashing light to turn green.

Please could someone help me out here. (If I don't repsond during the day it's because this forum may be blocked at work).

Thanks in advance.
Sean
